Making Up Is Hard To Do

Making Up is Hard To Do is part of a series of short films known as Snippets.

These Snippets are intended to be used when delivering community engagement/education workshops.

This one is about a young woman is caught applying make-up by her mother. Her mother demands she remove it. Later the young woman meets up with friends who assure her she looks good just the way she is.

Facilitators can use the questions listed below to encourage young people to express their opinions — even though a description has been provided above there is not necessarily a correct answer to the questions!

Using your own words, describe what you saw happen in the film.
Is there anything wrong with wearing make up?
What is self esteem?
Can you trust your friends?
